moonday

Moonday is a moment to sit together and reflect.
It often happens around a table, with a simple cloth, a few candles, and a deck of reflections of Gloria cards.
It can take place on any evening, whenever it feels right.
The day of the week doesn’t matter.

People talk as they normally do.
They arrive as they are.
The only difference is that the pace slows down.

The cards are there as an invitation.
One person may draw a card.
Several people may.
No one has to.

The same card can mean different things to different people.
There is no correct interpretation.
Different perspectives are welcome.

Moonday is not a ceremony.
No one leads.
Nothing needs to be explained.

It is simply an evening for reflection and sharing.
A moment to listen — to yourself and to each other.

Sometimes, the reflection continues in silence

Moonday Painting

A small canvas is covered in black.
This is where Moonday Painting begins.

The painting is not meant to represent the card.
It is not an illustration or a result.
It is a continuation of the reflection.

Red and silver are the colours used to shape
Reflections of Gloria.

Paint is placed gently on the surface.
Then comes the quiet part.

The canvas is slowly tilted.
Held.
Turned.
Paused.

Nothing else happens.

The colours move on their own.
Time stretches.
Conversation softens or disappears.
Attention narrows to small movements and small decisions.

There is no rush.
No correct direction.
No moment when the painting must be finished.

At some point, the movement feels complete.
The canvas becomes still.
And that is enough.

Moonday Painting is not about creating an image.
It is about sitting with something until it settles.

The paint was too thick and I had to tilt the canvas for a long time — but I still love it

The first painting

The first Moonday painting does not need to be beautiful.
It does not need to be successful.
It does not need to become anything.

The first painting is simply proof that you began.

Sometimes the colours mix too much.
Sometimes the canvas is tilted too long.
Sometimes the movement stops before you expected it to.

Moonday Painting is not about perfection.
It is about allowing the moment to exist without correcting it.

The first painting is not a result.
It is a beginning.
